A Newly Created Holiday?

The math department has long celebrated Pi Day on March 14.   The 7th grade general music class celebrated our first official Tie Day today.  It was time.  We've reached the page in our piano books where notes are being held across measures, (Ties) and the gentlemen in class (many of whom are athletes and asked to wear ties on game days) are still struggling to make those windsor knots.  It seemed like the perfect opportunity to make a connection, so we practiced both!
